But setting aside the destiny and obvious family pressure; Ms. Karuriya went for a Doctorate (Ph.D.), where the story of “Chamde ka Lutera” began. One of the pre-eminent works of Silisti Karuriya, “Chamde ka Lutera” is still counted with many other masterpieces found in Indian literature.
Silisti Karuriya’s award-winning story, ‘Bebasi’ under the Story To Screen 2020 depicts the plight of the underprivileged sections of the society during the worldwide pandemic is soon going to be made in a Web Series on a major OTT platform. Her debut work, “Chamde ka Lutera” known worldwide as an outstanding novel had confirmed its place in the Top 100 Best Debut Novels. The story of success keeps continuing with many other stories and romantic works by Silisti Karuriya.
