The LIT Digital Awards which welcomed nominations from all over the country in English fiction today announced its Longlist. Out of the various good books, few which were better than the others on various parameters made the cut. The longlisted books which made to the elite list were ranging from various genres to various writing styles. Of all the 20 books which made their entry into the longlist, female authors made their presence in equal numbers.
Debut books also gave neck to neck competition to the books which had already made their presence from years in the literary fraternity. Themes like romance, mythology were well received by the jury members along with some serious societal issues like gangrape. The short story collections also let their presence felt by getting inducted into the elite list.
