संसार में खुश वही है,
जो कुछ नहीं जानता..
और निराश वह है, जिसके हर वर्णन में एक
नया प्रश्न जागता।
एक ऐसा प्रश्न, जिसका उत्तर असंभव लगे,
इसी कारण, मूर्ख की बुद्धि तो जागे..
जब बुद्धि जागी, तो शांति बड़ी दूर खड़ी दिखी,
लौटने की कोशिश की तो,
सिर पर सत्य देखने की बला चढ़ी।
क्या ये सत्य के सफर की राही सिर्फ मैं हूँ?
मेरा दिल सोचे..
क्या ये जिज्ञासा की छुरी,
उन्हें नहीं खरोंचे?
जब खरोंचे छुरी, तब सत्य ढूँढ़ने में
हो जाओगे गुम..
क्या खुद को मिटाने में,
मेरे साथी बनोगे तुम?
जहाँ सब मेरे साथ गलत करें,
वहाँ खड़ी रहूँ बीच में..
सिर्फ उन्हें समझने की कोशिश करूँ,
आख़िर हूँ ही इतने नीच मैं!
शायद चैन, खुद को जानने में है,
ये सबक मैंने बड़ी देर से सीखी…
किसी और को समझने में,
समझ आती है सिर्फ़ बातें रूखी।
स्वीकार करना; सबसे आसान एवं मुश्किल चीज़,
ये आम नहीं कर पाते…
मैं आम से क्यों अलग हुई?
ऐसे प्रश्न फिर मेरे मन में जाग जाते…
