Darshan Desale is a college student, pursuing Parapsychology. At the age of 20, Darshan already has a mythological tale named ‘MANU’ credited to his name. He has also written a number of Marathi audiobooks in a span of just one year, and several more are being recorded. They have gained immense popularity. Due to their popularity, many of them have been translated into English and Hindi too. Darshan Desale’s audiobook named “Zombie” was also the first audiobook about zombies in Marathi Language. The young writer and music enthusiast has received a lot of acclamation for his work at very young age.
Last year Darshan Desale launched his first literary work titled ‘Manu’. The book is about the Protagonist Manu, a commonplace young boy who lived a life just like you and I. He loved to learn the secrets from our ancient scriptures and books. He tried to learn more about the meaning of life and existence. Manu’s life changes one day when a character from Mahabharata appears in front of him in person, with an invitation to visit a secret place in an ancient lost city and the story unfolds after that.
This year he gets nominated for the best author, best fiction book and for the best novel of the year in LIT FEST 2021 for his debuted novel ‘MANU’. through this novel author gives new perspective towards mythology.
