A writer by passion and an author of six books, Smita Das Jain writes every day. Her debut short story collection, A Slice of Life, was named among India’s top three fiction works by Writefluence, and her debut novel, A Price to Love, found a mention in the Top 50 books of 2022 by Delhi Wire.
Her award-winning second short story collection, Twisted Tales and Turns, was published in 2023, followed by her second award-winning novel, Till Fate Do Us Part, in 2024. Her debut non-fiction book, Leading With Words, came out in 2025 and was named the Best Non-Fiction by the Meerut Literary Festival and Asian Literary Society respectively. The spiritual non-fiction, Jagannath: Stories of Faith and Devotion, is her latest book that came out in 2026. She is also the co-author of the international bestseller Cracking the Rich Code: Volume 12, endorsed by Tony Robbins.
Smita was the only Asian to be named in the Top 20 flash fiction winners list in the Spring 2022 and 2025 contests of the prestigious US-based Women On Writing (WOW!) magazine for women writers. She is also the winner of the prestigious Bharat Award for Literature- 2023 for her short story ‘Purchased Love.’ Her award-winning short stories have been featured in The Tint Journal, Hemlock Journal, Parcham, Red Rose Thorn Journal, The Punch Magazine, Tell Me Your Story, Muse India, Kitaab, Auroras and Blossoms, Women’s Web, Writefluence, Wordweavers, Twist and Twain and Unleash Press. She was also named among the Top 5 writing voices in Youth Ki Awaaz for 2025.
