Author Sonal Agrawal’s Book Launched by HR-turned-Author Jyoti Jha

Manifesting one dream at a time and being optimistic is a choice! There can be an endless number of reasons to negate optimism, but if the right path is chosen, there’s no looking back. Taking this theory forward, Sonal Agrawal has always believed that the grass is greener on her side! That’s right!

Looking at the greener pastures of your neighbours and getting envious has always been considered something normal. Breaking this stereotype, Sonal Agrawal has come up with a book titled “The Grass Is Greener On My Side-A Classic Tale Of A Modern Girl.” This young adult fiction is a narrative of a girl named Parineeti, who is persistent about making it big in life. She has constant parental support. She begins her journey from Kolkata, the city of joy, and makes it to Mumbai, the city of dreams! In her quest to pursue her dreams, Parineeti comes across various people who contribute to her success. Parineeti is ultra-optimistic when it comes to working towards her goals. And this optimism pays off as she takes things in stride and climbs the ladder to success.

Born and brought up in Kolkata, Sonal Agrawal started her career in Advertising in 2007, where she worked with various advertising agencies. But destiny had other plans, and she became an Educator. From being a Pre-School Teacher to being a Pre-School Centre Head, Sonal has come a long way. With over a decade of experience in the Education field, Sonal leads in Administration, Operations, Marketing, Admissions, Teacher Training, Mentoring, and Curriculum Development, consistently enhancing education to meet today’s evolving needs.

Sonal knew she had it in her when she started writing articles for her school for Times NIE (Newspaper in Education), where she captured the events happening in her school through her lens. Articles led to blogs, and she created a Facebook blog page, where she writes blogs on topics close to her heart. But she knew this wasn’t enough. She knew that she had to go that extra mile. That’s how she started writing this book. She did have her moments of self-doubt. Not everything came easy, nor was it hunky dory! But as the saying goes, if you manifest, the universe makes it happen!

Sonal took a lot of personal instances from her own life and wrote a book which is relatable to today’s generation, the generation that has no belief in their dreams. The message that she wants to give to this generation is to keep working towards your dream and never give up. Sonal chooses to write stories that are light-hearted and feel good.

Sonal’s book was launched by Jyoti Jha, an HR -turned Author, TEDx Speaker, Columnist, Senior Editor at Today Magazine, and Chief Coordinator, Literary Chapter- Let’s Inspire Bihar. Jyoti appreciated the book for its refreshing simplicity and relatability, carrying a positivity with it. She extended her wishes to the author for her literary journey ahead.

The event was organized by Infeanet, a forward-thinking Web Development and Digital Solutions Company. The company has grown in leaps and bounds under the capable leadership of Rutuja Sathe, a dynamic entrepreneur. Rutuja hosted the event with her effervescent, warm, and friendly disposition, making the evening a memorable one.

Organized at the vibrant Waari Book Café on 10th May 2025, the event celebrated literature, leadership, and learning with voices that inspire change.
