The authors have always been a driving force of any cultured society. They had always been working tirelessly to give our society a positive direction and a meaningful impact. No matter; which time period we have been living in, the authors have always been seen with respectful eyes. As its, an unsaid fact that every word coming from the author is a gem and the mere mortals try to have their undivided attention to grab every single syllable. And could it be more delightful than having a chance to hear multiple authors in a single place? It’s more joyous than winning a million-dollar jackpot to hear the vast experience of wordsmiths whose every word is a masterpiece. Considering this fact, Literia Insight in association with the highly prestigious, The Dramatizers; IIT Jammu is organizing a Writers’ Meet.
The Writers’ Meet is not just going to be an amalgamation of authors but also a platform to have various literary attractions. Book Launches, Panel Discussions, and Book signings are the few which would be the star attractions of the event. Apart from that, we would have speeches from the authors themselves apart from the display of their masterpieces along with the interaction of students with their loved authors.
The Writers’ Meet is going to welcome various authors from all over the country. Not just the authors are from different geographic locations but are also masters of different genres. The various authors who would be adorning the Writers’ Meet are Jyoti Jha, Shireen Sultana, Prashant Pandita, Gaurav Srivastava, and Darshan Desale. All authors are completely unique and master of their craft who will share their wealth of experience.
The event would be hosted by Nitish Raj, Editor-in-Chief, The Literary Mirror where he would not just welcome the authors but also act as a bridge between the literary lovers and the masterful wordsmiths. The event would start at 04:00 PM onwards on 3rd September at OAT, IIT Jammu.
