I never thought I’d write a book. I’m a Psychology major, always deep into the science of minds, emotions, and all that moves us quietly beneath the surface. And for a long time, I believed that’s where I belonged. I do belong there, but I wasn’t looking elsewhere until I did. And, when I finally looked beyond…. I wrote a book.
Writing isn’t easy. It’s raw and often lonely. But I kept writing, not because I was sure, but because I was curious. If you have anything inside you, an ache, a memory, a moment, start. Don’t wait for the perfect idea. Don’t convince yourself you’re not meant for it. Just begin.
The person, because of whom this story found its voice, was Ms. Dixita Thakur, my teacher. She didn’t just believe in me but made sure I believed in myself, too. If you have ever lost someone but still hold onto their presence, this book is for you. To all the what-ifs, unspoken goodbyes, and hope.
Her latest book, “We Were Almost Something, Until…” is a hauntingly beautiful tale of love, memory, and timing.

I ordered this book and finished reading it, and I must say—it was an absolutely amazing experience. I can confidently say this one deserves a place on everyone’s shelf. What the author expressed in the prologue was just the beginning—this story is so much more than that. It’s a perfect blend of love and ache, beautifully portraying how love, in its truest form, lasts forever.
Hats off to the author for crafting such a heartfelt piece that lingers in the soul long after the last page.
