A naïve person as a child being born to dedicated parents in a small village named Pindaruch located in the state of Bihar; Meena Mishra has been able to become the Womennovator of Asia in a short career span of 4 years of becoming a publisher. She considers her inner drive to do the right thing added with the habit to put forth her requirements along with questioning who deviated as her secret of success as a young dynamic educator-cum-entrepreneur.
Meena always loved the way she was. She portrayed herself as an impish child and later that became the name of her Publishing House creating a platform for the stakeholders to showcase their latent talent rather than lamenting on what is not in them.
At a very young age of 21 years, Meena got married and had to relocate to the most happening place Mumbai. The place she grew up and the place where she settled had unimaginable difference. Nothing deterred her progress. She always saw opportunities at every juncture. She felt the need to shoulder the responsibility of her new family in all the ways. Her husband being a senior faculty of science, she chose the same path. She chose to share her expertise and head started her career as a language teacher. Very new to the fast pace, culture, life style of Mumbai every step was a learning curve for her. There were umpteen challenges which she thwarted undauntingly. The final result of her endeavors was rewarding for which she ventured passionately. The journey of Meena has not been a bed of roses. She has always been a good communicator and this quality of hers is what gave her the opportunity to work as a Radio Announcer. This role required spontaneity and presence of mind. She as an innovator always wrote and narrated her stories that coveted more audience for her shows.
Nothing is impossible or Everything is possible had been her motto. Her aspiration to share her experiences in the form of book has always been pulsating in her. She wanted to make it a reality and approached a publisher and did publish her first creation. To her great dismay, the book did not have the aesthetics nor the presentation to demonstrate her content. This paved way for her to don this responsibility herself.
And yes! That was the birth story of her own publishing house – The Impish Lass Publishing House. A passionate writer and empathetic person, she could create an empire for herself in the world of publishing which is bound to grow leaps and bounds with the tagline – Each Soul That Writes Has the Right to get Published.
With a unique concept and with a team of passionate people through her dynamic and enterprising leadership she has been able to embark in her dream entrepreneurial role tapping in the potential of her stakeholders. She has the unique quality of understanding people and bringing in the best out of them. It is not by force but by sheer love that her team works for her.
The Impish Lass 2 is her second book in the series of sharing her real experiences that would inspire the readers to be themselves, value their instincts and achieve their goals. Padma Vibhushan Dr Rajagopala Chidambaram; the eminent Indian Nuclear Physicist has endorsed and reviewed this book as to have touched upon every aspect of human life and behaviour written with sensitivity and humour. The book has been able to touch a record sales of 1000 books in less than 2 weeks of its release. A must read for people of all age group from all walks of life. There is something for each soul that reads the book to relate to and galvanize one.
