Naseha Sameen – Novelist

Naseha Sameen was born in Silver City Cuttack, which tempers the soul with resilience. In the late 90s, the city was yet to experience the full-blown invasion of mobile. Load shedding was common. People adjusted their work schedules to the load-shedding time. Extended families usually had a common yard, where in the dim light of stars, and lanterns, stories were told. Naseha’s love for stories originates from here.

A series of events took away the career she had been planning for. She did the unexpected and moved to Gurgaon to take up a job at Call Center.

Gurgaon was a dream and a nightmare at the same time. Battling with reality, she lost and regained her faith, sank into depression, and then thankfully stepped back from the cliff. Ruby Drops, which captured some emotions of this time, became a bestseller during the 1st COVID lockdown.

In 2016, Naseha moved to Hyderabad; it was time to push back the fear of rejection and embrace her passion. Invincible Publishers picked up the books Heir – End of Innocence and Heir – Dawn of Deception. The books were well-received by readers and critics alike. Critics from an International forum, Reader Favorite, awarded the book five stars. Heir has got Naseha Author Page Award for Best Debut and, Best Woman Writer, and Best Indian Author by Criticspace Literary Awards. She was conferred Author of the Year – 2020 by Ispiro Awards and Author of the Year by NE8x® Literature Fest 2021. Naseha is recognized as India’s 100 Prime Authors & 100 Women Icons by the prestigious Prime Awards group and The Real Super Woman Award 2021 by FSIA.

She has authored five solo titles and co-authored 22 anthologies.

Naseha is appreciated for her distinct style in presenting thrillers, which has won her ten national-level awards, including GlantorX Nation Choice Author Award.

She has received recognition for the same in platforms like India Today, Outlook, etc. She has been a guest speaker on distinguished platforms like IITs, Times, and Gurgaon LitFest.

Naseha is a Site Leader in an MNC, overseeing the planning, data modeling, strategies, and process automation and optimization but making time for her passion.
