Lost Boy

Lost Boy

In the shadows of the night,

A boy wanders through the streets,

With no direction or insight,

His broken heart skips a beat.

He searches for a glimmer of hope,

A light to guide him through the dark,

But all he finds is an endless scope,

Of lonely streets and empty parks.

The Figment of Love

He longs for someone to hold him tight,

To tell him that he’s not alone,

But all he hears is the sound of the night,

A symphony of sorrow and moan.

His tears fall like raindrops from the sky,

As he wonders where he belongs,

But he knows that he must keep on the try,

To find his place among the throngs.

For even though he’s lost and alone,

He knows that he’ll find his way,

And in the end, he’ll have grown,

Into a stronger person every day.
