Author Shantanu Banerjee comes from Ranchi, Jharkhand. He completed his school education from Bishop Westcott Boys’ School in Ranchi and graduated as well as post-graduated in Geology from Ranchi University. Later, he pursued his MBA from the Institute of Science and Management, Ranchi, and joined HDFC Bank as a banker, where he worked for five years. Currently, he is working in the General Insurance Industry. He wrote fiction right from his school and college days, and he had even written plays which were enacted on stage. He debuted in the literary fraternity with his bestselling masterpiece, ‘My Girlfriend Wedding’.
His second book, ‘Delhi Nights’, narrates the story of Veerendra Singh Saluja and Heer Preet Kaur, who work in New Delhi and, in unavoidable circumstances, become live-in partners. Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic in the capital city of New Delhi, Delhi Nights has numerous twists and turns that keep the readers hooked till the end. It’s one of the most promising contemporary romances that a reader can enjoy reading!
Presently, Shantanu is working on two projects, which are of completely different genres. He feels that he should not stick to one particular genre while writing stories, so that he can bring forth his versatility in writing in front of the world.
