Enclosure

Enclosure

When the world was a bigger space to explore

To traverse and acquaint and perceive the galore

Even from the comfort of my confined extent

I could see and sense and discern the bent

To only disentangle from my shell

To spread my wings and encounter the spell

And eventually feel the expanse close in

Creating an effect claustrophobic within

Generating a sense of fixation

Making me yearn to revert to the transition

Caged in the diverse world

Is it me that seeks to break free

Or is it the enclosure of my mind

That seeks to go on a spree
