In tandem, joy and sorrow exist
On an emotional scale, like a mist
Inseparable, and yet distinctly felt!
Sorrow and delight, in heart they melt
Sadness and tears, that mourn the loss
Grieving the ones, who pass across
Isn’t it true though, they also lived
So cherish life, and make it enlived!
Look afresh, within your heart
Feel the two, balancing apart!
For without the sadness
There’s no meaning to happiness
None is greater, neither is less
The wall within entraps the mess
Feel, measure, and balance the two
Don’t gather but constitute and hew.
